This website is run by St Peter Chanel Catholic Primary School & Pre-School. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

• change colours, contrast levels and fonts using your browser or device settings
• zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
• navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
• navigate most of the website using speech-recognition software

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible. For example:

Contacting us by phone or visiting in person

Our school office is open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. We provide a loop induction system at our reception desk. If you contact us before your visit we can arrange a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter if required.

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

• PDF documents — some older PDFs (newsletters and historic statutory documents) are not fully tagged for screen readers. From 3 January 2027, any new PDF we publish will meet accessibility standards.
• Third-party content — Department for Education performance data and other externally hosted content is not under our control. We link to it where required by statutory guidance.

What we're doing to improve accessibility

We are working to address the issues identified above by:

• Reviewing all newly uploaded PDF documents for accessibility before publishing
• Regularly checking images on the website have meaningful alternative text
• Training all staff who publish content on the website in accessibility best practice
• Undertaking an annual review of this accessibility statement
