Our team
Our staff are the heart of St Peter Chanel. Many of our team have been with the school for years, and our class teachers are supported by experienced teaching assistants, learning support staff, and a dedicated office and premises team. Together, they bring expertise, faith and warmth to everything we do — from the moment children arrive in the morning to the last activity at the end of the day.
Every member of our team — teaching and non-teaching — shares the same commitment to seeing every child inspired, challenged and empowered. Staff take part in regular professional development to keep their practice current, from new approaches to phonics and maths through to safeguarding, SEND, and Catholic life and mission.
Senior Leadership Team
Our Senior Leadership Team works closely with the Trust, governors and staff to set the direction of the school, monitor standards, and support every child to thrive.
Class teachers
We are a one-form entry school, which means each year group has one class taught by a dedicated team of teachers and support staff. This allows our team to know every child and family well, and to build strong, lasting relationships throughout a child's time with us.
Office and support team
Our office team are the first port of call for parents and visitors and work hard behind the scenes to keep the school running smoothly. Our premises and lunchtime teams help make sure the school is safe, welcoming and ready for learning every day.
