Our on-site Catholic Nursery & Pre-School in Foots Cray, Sidcup — for children from 2 to 4 years old, in a brand new building, with a team who've been with us since the day we opened.
St Peter Chanel Pre-School sits in its own dedicated building on the school grounds — a warm, stimulating environment where learning happens through play, exploration and discovery. Our specialist Early Years team know every child as an individual, and our small group sizes mean every child gets the attention they deserve. Children of all faiths and none are warmly welcomed.
What makes our Pre-School special
A brand new building
Our brand new Pre-School building opened in September 2025 — a bright, well-resourced classroom plus a covered outdoor deck, mud garden, mud kitchen and extensive play area surrounded by grass and trees.
A team you can trust
Our Early Years team has been with the Pre-School since it opened. Many of our staff have decades of experience between them — and the same familiar faces have welcomed siblings and cousins through the door year after year.
A seamless start to Reception
Children join regular transition mornings in Reception throughout their Pre-School year — meeting their future teachers, exploring the Reception garden, and joining in story time. By the first day of school, they're walking into a place they already know and love.
