Golden Jubilee Mass and End of Year Reports — Newsletter 3 July 2026

Our 50th Anniversary Mass is almost here, End of Year Reports arrive by email on 10th July, we celebrate the feast of St Peter and St Paul, and welcome a very special new arrival.

This week at SPC

Monday marked the feast of St Peter and St Paul, celebrating two of Jesus' greatest followers, who helped spread the Good News and build the early Church. Their courage, faith and love for God inspire us to follow Jesus, stand up for what is right and share His love with others every day. Fr Regis celebrated our Mass and asked us to think about who Jesus is to each of us.

It has been wonderful to welcome our new Reception families over the last few weeks to our school community — I know all of you will make them feel part of the community very quickly!

Mrs Griffin also came and visited us with her new baby Jake — Mum and Baby are doing brilliantly and we very much enjoyed the cuddles!

Have a brilliant weekend,

Mr Davies

End of Year Reports — important change

This year, our End of Year Reports will be sent home directly to the email you have provided to the school, from our assessment system Insight. On 10th July you will receive an email from system@insighttracking.com with your child's report link included. You will need your child's date of birth to access the report, which then downloads as a PDF you can save to your own device.

Please note the report link is only active for six weeks after 10th July — if you want to keep a copy of your child's report, make sure you save it before then.

SPC's Golden Jubilee Mass — Friday 10th July

Our 50th Anniversary and End of Year Mass takes place at St Lawrence's Church, Sidcup on Friday 10th July at 12pm. Canon Victor Darlington, from Southwark Diocese, and Fr Regis Rubaya, our Parish Priest and Governor, will be concelebrating.

All children from Reception to Year 6 will attend the Mass, accompanied by school staff (using public transport if required). All parents and carers are warmly invited — and please do extend the invitation to any ex-pupils, former staff and other past members of the SPC community. This will be a fantastic event and we cannot wait to celebrate with you all!
